This introduction to feminist theory explores explanations for women's oppression, proposals to eliminate gender inequality, and how such issues affect us all. Toward that end, the course surveys a wide range of feminisms including liberal, radical, socialist, intersectional, postmodern, third-wave, and queer/transgender.
